Don’t you just love that little white artifact dot thing in there? This led, easily enough, to the first header image. If you’ve been around for a while, you probably remember this:

Cute, huh? I was very proud of it, and I still am, I don’t care how strange or crappy it may be in reality. I stumbled along with this for a couple of years, until one day Dani, my perma-cohost, decided she couldn’t stand looking at it’s pixelated goodness anymore. Thus begat:

A little shinier, a little neater, a little cleaner, a little less bad and a pleasant selection of different features for different situations. The header should be obvious.

Then came a successful bout with NaPodPoMo 2008:

And I protested New Zealand copyright laws with the rest of twitter.

Never let anyone tell you that size doesn’t matter. It totally does.

And that’s when things got weird.

First, there was Christmas.

And then there was the Obama Inauguration, and the first and last time I was ever ontop of a meme at the beginning:

Then a background appeared. It’s grungy. I like it.

And then… well…

I went and asked Dani for a Braindouche with bunny ears on it, for my twitter icon (there was some solidarity thing involving bunny ears going on at the time. This is what she gave me:
